I stayed for some time in the house of a friend in Kaliasem, and from the second floor I watched daily kampong life. I was so impressed by the atmosphere of the intensity of the simple actions of this daily kampong life that I have to make this painting. No choice, it was my duty and pure love for what I see and feel. The most beautiful island (part of a great country) in the world, and ya this is real kampong (village) life. This painting is a wonderful story...... it tell you everything.
