Good friends of me Coba and Peer Maas who are also living in North Bali came to me with a litle photo book printed in brown photos from long time ago with Maluku objects and people. The photos were not bigger than 3 by 4 cm and they ask, Theo can you make from these photos big drawings or paintings? After I had a look in the little photo book I say... yes, I can do that and while I was busy to make the drwaing, at that moment I was looking very intensive at the phote and it was like the woman on the little photo of 3 x 4 cm. was very happy that she got a new' life' on my drwaing. It was an interesting process.
