Description:

With this painting there is a special story. I was just divorced from my third wife, an Indonesian beauty from Surabaya, and I was feeling sad and angry, and angry at myself also. Because I was believing her lies, and I was so stupid to act like professor Piggins in My Fair Lady. I wanted to create a new woman out of her, and take her out of the dirt and put her on a higher level, some kind of a Pygmalion feeling, naïve and stupid of me. When the whole period went through my mind, I was only a few month married to her. He period could best be described as ;heaven and hell'. Anyway, this is the result of my feeling when I was thinking of that period.
